Blind Verse; Marck L. Beggs (Salmon Poetry)

In his fourth collection of poetry, Marck L. Beggs explores folklore, from the famous to the obscure, from the personal to the universal, in an attempt to make meaning of the contemporary world. Geographically, it moves through locations as diverse as Arkansas, Iceland, Ireland, Alaska, and ancient Mesopotamia. A cacophony of voices rise to its surface: punk rockers, goddesses, cats, bullies, and more. Marck L. Beggs earned his Ph.D. from the University of Denver, his M.F.A. from Warren Wilson College, and currently is a professor of English at Henderson State University in Arkansas.
